Competition results

The main types of competion that the club hold are described below.

TYRO

This is for shiny vehicle and newbies to the sport. It involves negotiating through 12 sets of gates without hitting any or stopping forward motion. The terain the course is set out on is non dangerous and non damaging.

RTV

This is for the more experianced driver or modified vehicles. It involves negotiating through 12 sets of gates without hitting any or stopping forward motion. The terrain the course is set out on is more demanding and damage maybe caused if driven incorrectly.

CHALLENGE EVENTS

Winch challenge event requires a MSA club liscense and a lot more rules and regs. But basically it involves driving around a site looking for orienteering style punches. The vehicle has to be driven, winched to the punch and a control card fitted to the vehicle punched to prove you have got it. The winner is the driver or team with the highest score.
